Joe Gordon From: Joe Bardi Peter Abraham Emily Caldwell Rene Rodriguez Dpoland Brent Mayne Desta Bishu Melissa Brian Szczerbinski /26189252

Joe Bardi says it all comes down to this:
And then the relationship is over and Tom is a broken shell of a man. One of the hooks of (500) Days of Summer is a non-linear structure that jumps around in time as Tom attempts to figure out what went wrong with his relationship. If you ever wondered what the rom-com version of Lost would look like, this is it. One minute Tom is engaged in a post-coital celebration dance through a park (complete with backup dancers and animated birds), the next he’s living a disheveled existence, sleeping all day and subsisting on a diet of Twinkies and Jack .

In other words, Peter Abraham puts it this way:
Mrs. Kekich July 29th, 2009 at 2:49 pm Die Peter Gammons Die I agree that Gammons is an overrated blowhard but he did our boy A-Rod a gift/pass in the interview with the steroids admission. he is a shill for all of baseball, not just the Red Sox.

Still not being convinced, Peter Abraham replies:
Andrew July 29th, 2009 at 3:21 pm Jeez, so the Olney twitter was BS? I guess Doc to the sawks still on. When was Doc to the Sox ever on ? The only thing on right now is Doc s scheduled start this afternoon in Seattle. It is looking very unlikely, as of this moment, that he gets traded at all. But, no way does a fake Twitter account = Boston inevitability.

Similarly, Peter Abraham adds:
Jay Hirsch July 29th, 2009 at 3:11 pm Trade for Haren stuart a July 29th, 2009 at 3:11 pm they will rest posada today, watch .. call up another OF and send down abeledajo

Peter Abraham brings some great news:
SJ44 July 29th, 2009 at 3:15 pm So JP gives a phone interview to a NY writer and you believe him? You don t think he is posturing to try and get the Yankees to the table? What other motivation would he have to talk to Joel Sherman in the middle of the trade deadline? Gotta think people. Everybody in baseball manipulates the media at this time of the year.

Rene Rodriguez might have an idea about it:
Taking over the traditionally feminine role of most movie romances, Tom is the lovestruck fool this time, the one who doesn t pay attention when Summer tells him she s not looking for a serious relationship and doesn t really believe in love. All Tom sees is reaffirmation of what he feels for Summer, instead of noticing her warm and friendly remoteness and realizing that she genuinely likes and cares for him but is biding her time romantically until something better comes along.

Peter Abraham comes with a new idea:
At 19 years of age:Derek Jeter was OPS ing .855 in the Class A Sally LeagueMark Teixera was two years from his minor league debut.

Meanwhile, dpoland came up with this idea:

dpoland points out another thing aside from that:
Posted by: Lota at July 29, 2009 07:41 PM Nah, I'm sure it's all a matter of personal tastes, but with only a pair of exceptions I'll take every Sommers movie over every Cohen movie. The exceptions are that I'll concede that Cohen's best movie (Fast and the Furious) is better than Sommers's worst (Van Helsing). As far as I'm concerned, Cohen's 'seriousness' plays as pretentiousness and some kind of superiority to the material. Also, the things that Cohen thinks are cool (bright colors, cars, Vin Diesel or Paul Walker) aren't things that I think are cool. I prefer me some period settings and Kevin J. O'Connor.

dpoland might have an idea about it:

Brent Mayne imagines that:
How d you like to get rung up by Mr. Ashford? Eat your heart out Leslie Nielsen. Leslie Nielsen in the Naked Gun.

Emily Caldwell thinks about it:
Buyer: Sean A. Speedy Drilling Reserve champion carcass: Cailee Husted Bid: $9/pound Weight: 146 pounds

Desta Bishu tells the real story:
‘When I was first approached about the role I thought, ‘Aww man, how are you going to make a movie about G.I. Joe in a time of war?’

Emily Caldwell can't forget that:

Thinking that's not all, Melissa adds:
When it was all over, we gathered our things (which wasn’t much since we had forgotten all the important necessities like chairs and umbrellas back at my house) and joined the throng of fans headed back into town.

Brian Szczerbinski comes with a new idea:
